Nursing Assistant is a job you can do
The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides personal and nursing care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare facilities, clinics, private homes and community health organizations. Duties include maintaining patient hygiene and supporting doctors and nurses in diagnostic procedures and technical treatments, patient charting and patient instruction.
The NA documents any care that is given and reports significant observations to the nursing staff. The Nursing Assistant helps patients with all activities of daily living, serving a vital role on the healthcare team.

The Nursing Assistant training program (NA program) is offered through our Pima Medical Institute-Mesa Campus. This campus is owned and operated by Vocational Training Institutes, Inc., the same owner for all of the Pima Medical Institute’s nine campuses. The Pima Medical Institute-Mesa campus in licensed by the Arizona State Board for Postsecondary Education and is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing to offer the Nursing Assistant Training Program. This campus is also nationally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
