| PIMA MEDICAL INSTITUTE HIRES TY DRUSE
Tucson – Director of Physical Therapy Assistant Program Embraces
New Position
Pima Medical Institute, 3350 E. Grant
Road, Suite 200 recently announced that Ty Druse, Doctor
of Physical Therapy has been named to head the Physical
Therapist Assistant Program in Tucson.
Druse will be responsible for managing and developing
the campus’s newest program, Physical Therapist
Assistant. Prior to joining PMI, Druse served as the
athletic trainer and physical therapist for the Indian
Oasis-Baboquivari School District where he provided physical
therapy and sports medicine services for the school district
and established a student sport medicine program. He
received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in
1998.
“We are very proud of our Physical Therapy Assistant
Program and we were very particular about who would serve
as the new director,” said Stan Bodzioney, campus
director for PMI’s Tucson campus. “Ty’s
experience, education and commitment were a perfect fit.”
In addition to Physical Therapist Assistant, the institute
has programs for: Dental Assistant; Medical Assistant;
Medical Secretary; Health Unit Coordinator; Pharmacy
Technician; Phlebotomy Technician; Radiography; Respiratory
Therapy and Veterinary Assistant.
