Las Vegas, NV – Pima Medical Institute Offers Morning, Afternoon And Evening Dental Assistant Classes To Meet Growing Need In The Las Vegas Market

Dental Assistant students at Pima Medical Institute, 3333 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas have a lot to smile about. According to Babbette Burcaw, campus director for the Las Vegas career college, job opportunities continue to soar and the program now offers morning, afternoon and evening classes.
The morning class begins Nov. 29, the afternoon class starts Nov. 15 and an evening class begins Dec. 6. Students learn Chairside Assisting, Dental Radiography and Front Office skills as a part of the curriculum and cap their training off with an Externship in a Dentist’s office.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for Dental Assistants is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2012. Population growth and greater retention of natural teeth by middle age and older people will continue to fuel demand for dental services.
