Renton, WA – Chamber of Commerce Helps PMI Celebrate Opening of New Medical Career Campus

Pima Medical Institute, 555 South Renton Village Place in Renton celebrated their official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting celebration hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at 1 p.m. May 20th.
The new facility, PMI’s ninth campus in the western U.S. and the second one in the Seattle area, features 12 class/lab rooms with: computer labs for class and general use; complete Dental assistant lab with up-to-date equipment; X-ray and darkroom facilitates and a complete Veterinary Assistant Lab. There is ample free parking for students and it is handicapped accessible.

The 25,000 square foot campus offers programs for Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and Veterinary Assistant.

“We are very excited to offer the people in South Puget Sound a conveniently located, state-of-the-art campus in their area,” said Robert Panerio, campus director for the Renton campus. “There is a growing need for qualified professionals in the medical and healthcare field, and at PMI we are dedicated to providing our students with the best value in medical career training.”

The Renton campus, located south of Seattle, is a few blocks from the junction of the I-405 and SR-167 and within walking distance of South Grady Way Park and Ride. Potential students must be interviewed and pass an entrance exam prior to acceptance to the school. Student books, supplies and uniforms are available on campus.
