CESAR SOLIMAN OFFERS INSIDE LOOK INTO RADIOGRAPHY
Seattle, WA – Pima Medical Institute Names New Clinical Director of Radiography

Pima Medical Institute, formerly at 1627 Eastlake Avenue East in Seattle has named Cesar Soliman as the Clinical Director of Radiography for the Seattle campus. Soliman has over 20 years of experience as a radiographer, 18 of which as a Diagnostic Imaging Manager.

Prior to coming to PMI, the new Clinical Director of Radiography served as Director of Radiology at MRI and Diagnostic Centers in Everett. He has worked in both hospital and imaging centers in positions that ranged from Mobile CT Manager, Radiology Manager, Assistant Director of Radiology to Director of Radiology.

“We feel very fortunate to have someone with Cesar’s experience to head this exciting program,” said George Borchers, campus director for the Seattle campus. “Radiography is a rapidly growing career, and we want to ensure that our students have access to the latest technology and equipment, as well as experienced professionals in the field.”

Radiography is one of the Top 20 career fields that will be most in demand through 2010 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Due to the expanding population of the elderly, as well as the increased use of innovative medical technology for intensive diagnosis and treatment, the demand for these jobs is expected to increase for 50 years.

The 96-week Radiography program includes 2800 hours of training. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists examination for certification.

The Seattle campus offers programs for Dental Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Radiography and Veterinary Assistant.
